Security
Preparation depends on trust. This page states plainly which security controls are in place inside Life Vault OS today.

Life Vault OS does not provide legal, financial, tax, investment or medical advice.

Access to your vault
Your vault is reachable only after you sign in. Sessions are issued by our managed authentication provider, and every request to your data carries that session.
- Email magic-link and Google sign-in; we never store your password.
- Anonymous sign-up is disabled.
- Signing out ends the session on your device.

Data isolation
Every table that holds member content is protected by row-level security policies, so a signed-in member can read and write only their own rows. Shared Universe™ content is additionally scoped by membership and role.
- Row-level security enabled on all member tables.
- Internal permission helper functions are executable only by signed-in callers and answer only about the requesting member.
- Shared Universe™ roles cannot be self-promoted; role, status and tier changes are restricted to the universe owner.

Transport and storage
All traffic between your browser and Life Vault OS is served over HTTPS. Documents you upload to Life Vault™ are held in a private storage bucket and served through short-lived signed links rather than public URLs.

Payments
Card details are handled entirely by our payment provider. We never see, transmit or store card numbers. Membership state is derived from verified webhook events.

Exports
Reports and Download My Universe™ exports are generated for the signed-in member only, and each export is recorded in an activity log you can review.

What we do not claim
We describe only controls that are implemented today. Life Vault OS does not currently claim any third-party certification such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001, and we do not claim end-to-end encryption of stored content.

Reporting a vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security issue, please contact us with the details before disclosing it publicly. We will acknowledge your report and keep you informed.
